About us

REC Magazine is a new alternative bilingual website published in English and Georgian that is based on work of non-professional citizen journalists.

REC is fully participative project and gives the young people the opportunity to contribute to the entire concept of REC, from formulating its values, to deciding about the content that will be published.
We want to:
– establish a stable team of authors
– develop the skill of the volunteers to be citizen journalist
– to publish articles, photos, videos created by the team of DRONI members
– give space to other youngsters – target groups of DRONI, such as IDP youth, young people from rural areas, SOS village, but also students etc.
– to organize workshops on citizen journalism for potential authors and these target groups.
