Baby turtle in Turtle Reservoir near Sur: The only time allowed to visit the turtles are 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. Me and my travelling compagnions chose the early hours to visit the reservoir. First we were observing the giant turtle escaping to the sea after it laid

eggs in a sand. It took it nearly 5 minutes to drag into the sea.

Celebration after Sultan’s comeback 1,2: The Sultan came back from Germany where he had spent 8 months on a treatment. The whole nation celebrated his comeback delightfully singing and waiving the flags.

The town of Nizwa: Nizwa is one of the oldest cities in Oman and it was once a center of trade, religion, education and art. Nizwa is about 140 km (1.5 hours) from Muscat.
